Visit to the UAE on November 8-11, 2022

A business visit of the heads of the Belarusian companies to the UAE, organized by the Minsk branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, took place from November 09 till November 11, 2022.


The Eurasian business forum “Spotlight into Belarus” was held on November 9 in Dubai. It was organized by the Minsk branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the UAE, the Consulate General of the Republic of Belarus in Dubai, the National Agency for Investment and Privatization and EurAsia Gulf Agency.


Sergey Nabeshko, General Director of the Minsk branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Andrei Luchenok, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus in the United Arab Emirates, Navar Abdul Vahed, CEO of EurAsia Gulf Agency, and about 100 Belarusian and Emirates companies took part in the Forum.


During the Forum the business representatives of the two countries got acquainted the participants with the opportunities for business and investment cooperation between Belarus and the UAE, the conditions for doing business and investing in Belarus, taking into account the experience already gained during the implementation of the North Shore project.


B2B negotiations were held at the end of the plenary part of the event. During the negotiations the Belarusian participants established contacts and discussed the prospects for cooperation with the representatives of the UAE enterprises.


On November 8, 2022 the members of the Belarusian delegation took part in business forum "Belarus - Sharjah". In the framework of the Forum Sergey Nabeshko, General Director of the Minsk branch of the BelCCI signed a cooperation agreement with Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry.


On November 10, 2022 the participants visited the exhibition "The Specialty Food Festival", business meetings and negotiations were held with the representatives of the following companies: Al Rawabi Dairy CO, Emaar Properties and FEZ Dubai South in Dubai.
