Free sale certificate
Since March 1, 2017 the Unitary Enterprise “Minsk Branch of the BelCCI” has been issuing free sale certificates to interested organizations, according to the decision of the Presidium of the BelCCI of December 27, 2016 (protocol No. 1).
A free sale certificate (certificate) is a document required for the import of Belarusian goods into a foreign country, confirming that the exporter has the documents drawn up in the certificate for the goods, needed as per legislation of the Republic of Belarus for the circulation of these goods in the Republic of Belarus and (or) for export.
The availability of a certificate of free sale is a prerequisite for the import of certain groups of goods (fertilizers, medicines, medical supplies, perfumes and cosmetics, food, some others) to the countries of South-East Asia and Latin America.
List of documents required to obtain a certificate of free sale:
• a copy of the contract (annexes, specifications to the contract) for the supply of goods to a foreign country with a list of goods, including the name, type, brand, model, article, catalog number and other information, also in a foreign language, allowing for the foods unambiguous identification;
• copies of documents, needed for the circulation of products on the territory of the Republic of Belarus (depending on the types of products, for example: declarations of conformity, certificates of conformity, certificates of state registration, certificates of state hygienic registration, etc.);
• a copy of the license for goods production. Only for the goods, the production of which is a type of activity, requiring a license in the territory of the Republic of Belarus;
• a letter of the manufacturer, confirming that the legislation of the Republic of Belarus has established or has not established certain requirements to the availability/absence of such documents with regard to the declared goods.
By agreement with the Unitary Enterprise “Minsk Branch of the BelCCI” the application and the documents attached thereto can be forwarded in advance by an applicant via e-mail in the form of scanned copies, followed by the submission of the application and documents in paper to the Unitary Enterprise “Minsk Branch of the BelCCI”.
